Backg.one provides an AI-powered background removal service. We offer:

●Free tier: Limited usage with basic features
●Paid subscriptions: Higher limits and additional features
●Credit packs: One-time purchases for additional processing
●API access: For programmatic integration (Pro and Enterprise)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

4. Acceptable Use

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of images you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your images solely for providing the Service. We do NOT claim ownership of your content.

5.2 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Backg.one and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

5.3 Content Guidelines

You are solely responsible for content you upload. We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

6. Pricing and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

Free tier usage is subject to limits. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time.

6.2 Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6.3 Credit Packs

Purchased credits do not expire. Credits are non-refundable except as required by law.

6.4 Refunds

Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of purchase for refund requests.

7. Usage Limits and Fair Use

Each plan has specific usage limits. We monitor usage to ensure fair access for all users. Exceeding limits may result in:

●Temporary service restrictions
●Requirement to upgrade to a higher plan
●Overage charges (for paid plans with overage enabled)

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Data Retention

Processed images are stored temporarily according to your plan tier. After the retention period, images are permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

●Results will be accurate or error-free
●The Service will be uninterrupted or secure

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backg.one shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Backg.one from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or website notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Backg.one operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
